Tanya Sperry, 43, of Evansville, WI, died at Mercy Hospital, Janesville, WI, on July 17, 2018, after an extended illness. She was born January 6, 1975, in Janesville to the late Scott Sperry and Carolyn (Helgesen) Sperry, who survives. Other survivors include beloved niece and nephew Phoenix Walmer and Kaden Phillips, children of her sister, Shanna Sperry, deceased; Connie Eveland, a life long, special family friend; cousin, Judy Helgesen and special friend, Nicole Woodards, who both were more… Read More » like sisters.

Tanya was a life long resident of Evansville. She graduated from Evansville High School and Madison Area Technical College’s LPN program. She worked as an in-home nurse in Evansville and as an EMT in Evansville and Milwaukee, WI.

Most recently, crafting and cooking were hobbies Tanya enjoyed while being a caregiver to Phoenix and Kaden along with her mother. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, on Monday, July, 23, 2018, at St Paul Catholic Church, 39 Garfield Ave, Evansville. Visitation will be 9:00 am until time of the Mass.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin Janesville in Tanya’s name.
