Obituary of Tanya Dlouhy-Wright Tanya D. Dlouhy-Wright, 59, of Cedar Rapids, IA passed away February 10, 2019, surrounded by family at The Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, IA. Tanya was born September 13, 1959 in Iowa City, IA to Everett “Shorty” and Annetta Hull. She attended Iowa City West High.

Tanya was a friend to many and loved by everyone she met. She was passionate about her cooking and making sure nobody went hungry. Tanya is survived by her significant other, Glenn Sheka; her children, Milo Dlouhy, Brandi Dlouhy, Dale (Taryn) Dlouhy, Nathen (Laura) Dlouhy, Stephanie (Jake) Eakes, Justin (BJ) Temeyer, Eric (Jess) Temeyer; 23 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, all from the Iowa City area.

Along with 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She was proceeded in death by her parents and 2 Brothers. There will be a celebration of life Sunday March 3, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Iowa City American Legion Post #17 @ 3016 Muscatine Ave Iowa City, IA 52240.

In lieu of flowers the family has a Go fund me account and will take donations at the Legion. “Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail”.
