Obituary for Taylor Gaskins Taylor Angelo Gaskins, 30, of Spartanburg, devoted husband of Meredith Julian Gaskins and beloved father of Olivia Anne Gaskins, 7, and Julia Elizabeth Gaskins, 3, died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 1, 2018. Taylor was an Associate Software Engineer for Foxfire Software in Greenville, SC. A graduate of Paul M. Dorman High School, he attended USC Upstate and Spartanburg Community College.

In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his mother, Paula S. Gaskins of Reidville; two sisters, Faith Gaskins of New York City and Sarah G. Parker (Kevin) of Moore; one brother, Steven Gaskins Jr. of Greenville; a grandfather, O.K. Gaskins of Greer; a grandmother, Ruth Hendrix of Spartanburg; and a loving extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Gaskins Sr. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to a fund established for the care and education of Taylor’s daughters, who were his greatest joy.
