Obituary for Teresa Anne Camara Age 64, passed away on April 10, 2018 at Castle Hospital in Kailua. Teresa was born in Honolulu on November 2, 1953 to Ruth and William Vierra, who preceded her in death. Teresa attended Kailua High School and earned her Masters in Teaching at Chaminade.

She loved her career as a teacher at Damien Memorial HS, King Intermediate, and finally at Waimanalo Elementary & Intermediate, where she retired in 2015. In her retirement, Teresa loved spending time with her family and working on her arts and crafts which brought her great joy. Teresa will be remembered as a loving, gentle, caring, and honest soul, who believed in seeing the good in everything around her.

Survived by husband, Michael Camara, Daughter Trisha (Michael) Sommer, Son Michael (Rebecka) Braxton, Grandchildren Jameson and Adeline, Sister Ruthie (Les) Chatterton, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation 10:00 am, Service 11:00 am at Diamond Head Chapel on May 8, 2018. Burial at 12:30pm on May 8, 2018 at Diamond Head Memorial Park.
