Teresa Allen, 66 of Logansport, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on August 12, 1952 in Meridian, Mississippi, she was the daughter to the late Darris and Lucy L. (Bounds) Church. On June 14, 1968 in Meridian, Mississippi she married her husband of 51 years, Michael L. Allen who survives.

Teresa was a member of LifeGate Church in Logansport, where she enjoyed participating in mission work. She was a wonderful cook and in her spare time she enjoyed watching Homicide Hunter, Wheel of Fortune, eating at the Hesson House in Hesson, Indiana and taking trips to the casino. She loved to shop at Wal-Mart, especially for her grandchildren, and then afterwards would always send the bill to Mike.

Teresa had a great sense of humor and thoroughly enjoyed working with the Woodbridge therapy department, especially Alex and Annabelle. She was very appreciative of her special sister Lela Hudson, who stayed and cared for her throughout her recovery from her kidney transplant. Surviving along with her husband Mike, is a son, Tony D. Allen, Logansport; seven grandchildren, Caitey Bowen, Parker Allen, Lexi Allen, Shelby Allen, Atlantis Allen, Ashton Allen, Hadley Bickett; brother, Tommy Church, Lafayette; daughter in law, Mandy Allen, Logansport; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael R.T. Allen; sister, Priscila Short, and her mother and father. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at LifeGate Church, 831 Burlington Ave, Logansport. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
