OBITUARY Teri Jill Turley July 11, 1953 – July 20, 2018 Teri Jill Turley, of Lakewood, CO, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2018 at the age of 65. Teri was born in Denver, CO on July 11, 1953 to Dale and Betty Cummings. She graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver, with a bachelor’s in business and also pursued studies in opera.

Teri spent her professional life working as a payroll manager and had a catering business on the side decorating wedding and party cakes. 17 years ago, Teri found her true passion and created her spiritual healing practice. Her dedication for singing continued throughout her lifetime and was a member of the Mile Hi Church choir, who liked singing for the church holiday services and especially enjoyed going to Coors Field to sing the national anthem at a Rockies home game during the 4th of July home series.

Teri will be remembered for her grounding energy, beautiful cakes, her passion for singing, and her perseverance. Teri was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Franz Leroy Turley; her parents, Dale and Betty Cummings. Teri is survived by her sisters, Ginny Van Oeveren and Susan Cummings; son, Jeremy Christopher Cummings and his wife, Emily Van Cleave.

A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Mile Hi Church, 9077 W. Alameda Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226 with a barbeque reception immediately following in the community center.
