Terrence L. “Terry” LaBorde, 71, Hanover, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at York Hospital. Born June 20, 1947, in DuBois, he was the son of the late Donald and Anna Lee (Wise) LaBorde. On September 12, 1975, he married Elisa Meenan in DuBois.

She survives. Terry graduated from the DuBois Area High School in 1965. He went on to study accounting at the National College of Business in South Dakota.

Terry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he obtained the rank of sergeant. Terry is survived by three children, Marc (Melissa) LaBorde, Imler, PA, Dawn (Justin) Goshorn, Chambersburg, PA, and Terry L. (Peter Jesus) LaBorde, Liberty Hills, TX, and seven grandchildren. He was the last member of his immediate family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David LaBorde. Friends and family will be received Friday, January 11, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc. A funeral service will held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10 a.m. from the funeral chapel with LaMarr Adamson CLP officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the DuBois Area Honor Guard.

Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517 or to the American Heart Association at donatenow. heart.org.
