Terri’s Obituary Terri Marie Stuart, age 42, of Columbus died peacefully at home with her family by her side on March 21, 2019. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 am Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at St. Isidore Catholic Church with the Rev. Ross Burkhalter, Rev.

Joseph A. Miksch and Rev. Del Lape celebrating the Mass. Visitation is on Monday from 4-7 pm at St. Isidore Church with a Vigil service to follow at 7:00 pm.

Visitation continues on Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 am, also at St. Isidore’s. Interment is in All Saints Cemetery. Terri Stuart was born September 25, 1976 in Columbus to Dennis and Carolyn (Hurt) Kresha.

She attended St. Anthony’s Grade School and graduated from Scotus Central Catholic. Terri continued her education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she received her Bachelor’s Degree. Terri married Chad Stuart on August 28, 1999.

They have 3 children, Abigail (18), Tyler (15), and Sydney (11). She became a stay at home mom not only to her own kids but to many other kids thru her home day care. While battling cancer, Terri returned to UNL where she received her Master’s Degree.

She worked at Columbus Middle School where she was a special education teacher. Terri was a devout Christian. Her faith was very important to her.

She was an active member of St. Anthony Church and at her school. Terri enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and loved being outdoors camping and 4 wheeling. Terri is survived by: Husband: Chad Stuart of Columbus Children: Abigail, Tyler, and Sydney Parents: Dennis and Carolyn Kresha of Columbus Brother: Ron (Wendy) Kresha of Little Falls, MN Brother: Jeff (Kerin) Kresha of Bellevue, NE Sister: Jennifer (Matt) Mestl of Omaha, NE In-Laws: Charles and Carol (Konwinski) Stuart of Columbus Brother-in-laws: Scott Stuart and Brian (Paula) Stuart of Columbus Many nieces, nephews, and dear close friends She is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
