Terry E. Sanders December 11, 1971 – March 10, 2019 Rochelle Terry Eugene Sanders, 47, passed away peacefully and comfortably surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. Terry was born on December 11, 1971 to Harold G. and Kathleen E. (Miller) Sanders in Rochelle. Terry worked numerous jobs throughout his life.

He was certified to be a personal trainer before he was diagnosed with cancer the first time. During his treatment, Terry enrolled in and completed online courses to become a counselor for children. Most recently, he designed and sold his own jewelry in an online Etsy store.

Terry was a loving and protective father, son, brother, and uncle. Terry is survived by his son, Quinton James Sanders of Sterling; parents, Harold and Kathleen Sanders of Rochelle; brothers: Gary Sanders of Rock Falls and Jeremiah (Debbie) Sanders of Las Vegas; sister, Karen Sanders Smith of Rochelle; nieces and nephews: April and Amy Sanders of Lyndon, IL, Nicole Mohamed Sanders of Grove City, OH, Brooke and Cassie Lindsey of Rochelle, and Aiden Sanders, Bella Carney and Joey Bender, all of Las Vegas. Terry was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Betty Myers and Lela Range; grandfather, James Sanders, aunt and uncle, Pat (Kenneth) Ehrke and nephew, Bradley Sanders.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Harvest Baptist Church, 241 Scott Ave. , Rochelle. The funeral service will follow at noon, on Saturday with Pastor Duane Boehm officiating.

Cremation care will be accorded after the services. Memorials may be made in Terry’s memory to the American Cancer Society. Visit www.
