Obituary of Terry Equils Terry L. Equils, 81, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. Born in Scranton, NC on April 6, 1937 he was the son of the late George Dewey Equils and Ada Florence (Huff) Equils. Terry entered the United States Airforce on September 19, 1956 and was honorably discharged on September 18, 1962 as an Airman 2nd class.

On April 11, 1973 Terry enlisted in the Air National Guard serving with the 107th Combat Support Squadron, until being honorably discharged as an Airman 1st class on April 10, 1974. After and well serving his country, Terry worked as Supervisor at Dupont, retiring after 27 years in 1991. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed cooking, gardening, photography and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Marian R. (Pietkiewicz) Equils; daughters, Theresa Equils and Kelly Baratta; son, Sean Equils; seven grandchildren; sister, Mary Douglas Midyette. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Friends may call Wednesday, October 3rd from 4-8 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC.

, 319 24th Street, cor of Welch Ave, Niagara Falls, NY. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 4th at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Niagara Falls, NY with Rev. Daniel Tabor officiating.

EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Burial with military honors following in Acacia Park Cemetery, North Tonawanda, NY. In Lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a Veterans Charity of One’s Choice.
