She was born Monday, March 17, 1930 in Lucedale, Mississippi. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home-Forest.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the chapel. Burial will follow in Harperville Memorial Park Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home-Forest is in charge of arrangements.

(601) 469-1941 She was preceded in death by parents, Dow and Rosetta Welford; son, James Elmore; daughter, Rose Mary Shuler. Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Lonnie Elmore, Sr.; daughters, Nancy Anderson, Lura Guthrie, and Pam Green (Greg); sons, Bill Elmore (Marie) and Lonnie Elmore, Jr. (Stacey); 19 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Scott Green, Preston Green, Sammy Henry, Jonathan Elmore, Anthony Elmore, Alex Guthrie, and Harold Bradford.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mitch Parkman and JJ Long.
