Theodore “Ted” D. McCuen, age 82, of Downing, WI died Saturday October 6, 2018 at his home. Ted was born July 5, 1936 in Minneapolis, MN to Robert H. and Charlotte (Madson) McCuen. He was raised by family members in the Wheeler area.

Ted served in the US Army from 1954 to 1957. Ted married Verna Mae Link on August 12, 1955 in Reno, NV. He enjoyed fishing, camping , painting and repairing cars, he was a man of all trades.

Grandchildren, Charity (Kirby) Wittmer, Ted (Dana) McCuen III, Ashley (Ted ) Jilek, Allen (Sam) McCuen, Lisa, Stacy (Jer) Johnson, Adam Hillman (Shellie Dean), Elizabeth (Jake) Bohlken, Sarah, Brian Jr & Bethany Loida.

great grandchildren; Kyle, Dusty, Ethan, Jamie Lynn, Megan, Theo, Zack, Xavair, Xesher, Xendra, Zander, Silas, Drake, Danika, Reese, Brady. Logan & Miles. Sister Marlene (Gene) Hanson, Brother Merlin Anderson.

Sisters in law; Phyllis Kedrowski, Mary Lou Lockwood, Pauline Seeger and Paula Standaert. He is further survived by the nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday October 11, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church in Connorsville with Reverend Gregory Becker officiating with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services Thursday at the church. Local arrangements by the Anderson Funeral Home in Glenwood City, WI.
