Theodore (Ted) Lamont Hynson, son of Leroy and Mary Jane Hynson, who preceded him in death, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 11, 2018. Ted was 70 years old. Ted was born in Wilmington, Delaware where he grew up.

He met and married his college sweetheart, Wanda Ward on August 21, 1971. His formal education included graduating from University of Delaware State (BA) and Golden Garden Gate University (MA). Ted was a member of Capital Christian Center for 38 years where he served faithfully in the choir and on the church board. He loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus and readily shared that love with others. Ted knew no strangers.

He had a way of making everyone feel like his best friend. Ted leaves to cherish is precious memories: Wanda, Teddy Jr. (Melissa), Drew (Alysha) and Candace. Grandchildren: Mackenzie Grace, Trey Michael and Grayson Theodore (arriving in November).

Siblings: Harold (Mary), Lionel (Audrey), Marian Waters, Kenneth (Tanya) and the late Doris Taylor & Gloria Canty. Brother in Love: George (Debbie) Carter and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbors and friends.
