Theresa Marie Huffman (nee Kovacs), 71, of Lorain, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center in Lorain, OH. She was born in Lorain, OH on February 19, 1947. Theresa graduated from Lorain High School, Class of 1966.

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua in Lorain, OH. Theresa worked for Lancing, MI school system as child care specialist. She operated a hobby business at Jamies Flea Market for 15 years.

She is survived by her husband, James L. Huffman; brother, Steve (Jane) Kovacs; sister-in-law, Patricia Kovacs; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Marcus James Huffman in 1982; parents, Frank and Helen (nee Shuster) Kovacs; and brothers, Joseph and Anthony Kovacs. The family will receive family and friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH, (440) 244-1961, on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.

Closing prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 9:20 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua, 1305 East Erie Avenue, Lorain, OH 44052, Fr. Edward J. Smith, Pastor, officiating.
