Thermon “Big Paw” Begley, 77, of Campbranch passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Thermon was the son of the late Gillis and Belle Coots Begley. Surviving is his wife: Linda Quillen Begley; 3 sons: Thermon (Barbara) Begley Jr. of Campbranch, Douglas Begley of Campbranch, and Matthew (Sherry) Begley of Luttrell, Tennessee; 1 daughter: Jackie (Robbin) Roberts of Luttrell, Tennessee; 2 brothers: Ray Begley and Leonard Begley both of Campbranch; 8 sisters: Wilma Fields of Sandlick, Lily Mae Garrison of Sharps Chapel, Tennessee, Athlene Parker of Campbranch, Edith White of Deane, Francis Honeycutt of Lexington, Phyllis Combs of Campbranch, Kathy Parker of Campbranch, and Shirley Fleming of Campbranch; 7 grandchildren: Corey, Bradie, Justin, Cassidy, Coleman, Thomas, and Seth; 9 great grandchildren.

Thermon was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Cecil, Tom, and Chester; special granddaughter: Casey. Funeral: 11:00 O’clock A.M. Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Campbranch Pentecostal Church with Ray Begley, Virgil Baker Jr., and Stephen Ratliff officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Campbranch Pentecostal Church.

Burial will follow in the Begley Cemetery at Roxana, Kentucky.
