Thomas Boyd Agner, 87, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Countryside Village in Pikeville. Tommy was born in Durham County on June 8, 1931 to the late Charles Baxter Agner and Helen Lucille Sossoman Agner. He was married to the late Frances Stafford Agner.

For many years, Tommy worked in sales with Ethan Allen Furniture Company. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church. Tommy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 in the Price-Crocker Cemetery in Pine Level with Rev. Barry Stallings officiating. A time of visitation will follow the service at the cemetery.

Tommy is survived by his brother, Don Agner and wife Evelyn of Concord. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Pleasant Grove O.F.W.B. Church, P.O. Box 36, Pikeville, NC 27863.
