Thomas’ Obituary Thomas Charles Crawley was born on August 26th, 1934, in Steubenville, Ohio to Patrick and Mary Crawley. As a boy he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. He graduated from Mount Union Callege in 1959, receiving a degree in Accounting.

He worked at Ohio Bell for thirty-four years, retiring in 1992 as Director of Benefits. On August 17th, 1956, he married his sweetheart, Barbara. They were married for 62 years and raised, and is survived by four daughters; Patty (Doug) Dunham, Colleen (Bill) Gawne, Kelly (Dave) Walker, and Nancy (Keith) Beres.

He was a loving grandfather to Kristen (Kevin) Yaiko, Stefanie (Tim) Schocke, Joshua (Katie) Dunham, Samantha Walker, Jordan Gawne, Hunter Gawne, Adam Beres, and Natalie Beres. He was the great-grandfather of Seth, Kate, Lucy, Jude, Daniel, Ashland, Charlie, and Porter. Tom was a Cleveland sports fan and loved watching Notre Dame play.

He enjoyed golf, gardening, and bike riding. He also loved a good bowl of ice cream. He became a follower of Christ at the age of forty, and this led to his love of reading the Bible and leading Bible Studies, as well as serving at Hope Community Church.

Tom was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who always gave of himself to others and loved the Lord with all his heart.
