Obituary for Thomas D. Wilhelm Thomas D. Wilhelm, Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved father and grandfather passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Ascension St. Mary’s after a courageous battle with cancer. Age 81 years.

Son of the late Daniel and Thelma (Bruns) Wilhelm, Thomas was born April 3, 1937 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a 1955 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. He had been married to Kay (Owen) Wilhelm.

Tom was a journeyman at Saginaw Steering Gear retiring in 1993 after 34 years of service. He was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, U.A.W. Local #699, the Moose Lodge #82 and the Eagles Aerie #4413. He enjoyed traveling, casinos, playing golf and spent several winters in Florida.

Surviving to cherish his memory are two daughters, Marsha Wilhelm, Saginaw; Brenda Allen and her husband John Strecker, Saginaw; his grandson, Bradley Thomas Allen, Laurel, Maryland; his brother, Randy and Carol Wilhelm, Cheboygan; his niece, Kathy and Travis Pomranky, Midland; his nephew, Dan and Tina Wilhelm, Freeland; his friend and companion, Betty Leaym, Saginaw; and several cousins. Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty).

Pastor Kristina Truhan will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
