OBITUARY Thomas E. White, Jr. March 24, 1934 – January 26, 2019 Thomas E. White Jr. 84, of Henrico, VA passed away peacefully at home on January 26, 2019. He is preceded in death by his father Thomas E. White Sr., his mother Mildred White, and brother Kenneth White. He is survived by his wife Cynthia White, son David White, daughter Linda Aicholtz and granddaughters Jessica & Lauren Aicholtz.

He joined the Air Force in 1951 where he served in Vietnam earning the Bronze Star and retired after 20 years of service. Tom had a great passion for trains, boats, fishing, and all things maritime. He adored his granddaughters with his whole heart.

Once retired, he started his own boat business Clipper Marine & White’s Marine Service. Many of his friends and customers knew him as “Whitey”. Tom was a Mason, Shriner, and a member of the ACCA Motor Patrol.

He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Scottish Rite, and The American Legion of Foreign Wars. The family will receive friends, Friday, February 1st from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, Laburnum Chapel; where the funeral service will be held Saturday, February 2nd at 2 PM. Interment will be at Washington Memorial Park in Sandston and a reception to follow at Varina Episcopal Church, 2385 Mill Road, Richmond, VA 23231.
