OBITUARY Thomas “Ed” Edward Windsor July 16, 1939 – January 22, 2019 Thomas Edward “Ed” Windsor, Jr., age 79, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Ed was born on July 16, 1939 in the village of Atco, Cartersville, GA, son of the late Thomas Edward Windsor, Sr. and Maggie Mae “Tootsie” Johnson Windsor. Ed graduated from Cartersville High School in 1957 and remained a Hurricane.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1957-1961. He retired from First Brands after more than thirty years of dedicated employment. He was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and was ordained as a minister in 1968, serving several churches in Bartow County.

He was a volunteer for the Bartow County School System for many years. His family was his world and everyone that knew him, loved him. Ed is preceded in death by his brothers, James Windsor and Maclin “Mac” Windsor; father-in-law and mother-in-law, B.C. and Rachel Knox Cagle.

Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-five years, Emily Cagle Windsor; daughters, Tia D. Windsor, Rhonda Windsor Morris and Christy (Randy) Windsor Bohannon; grandchildren, Jessica (Darren) Griffin, Eric Hawkins, Mallary Hawkins, Chloe Bohannon, Isabelle Morris; great-grandson, Josh Griffin; sisters-in-law, Mary Windsor and Edna Windsor and Rochelle (Robert) Moore; a host of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Friday, the 25th of January, 2019 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Shepard officiating.

Interment will immediately follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from four o’clock in the afternoon until eight on Thursday, the 24th of January, 2019 at Owen Funeral Home. Please visit www.
