Obituary for Thomas Edward George Thomas Edward George, age 66 of Covington, died Sunday, October 21, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ella George; brother, Ken George. He is survived by his wife, Patsy George; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Jason Stevens; grandchildren, Ashton Stevens, Mason Stevens; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jo Anne and Bob Carroll, Janet Chandler, Donna and Norman Clarke, sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law, Teresa and Alan Atkinson, Rebecca and Tom Middleton, Jacki Middleton; beloved nieces and nephews.

Mr. George was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church and played on the mens basketball and softball teams at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. He enjoyed sports, golf, and fishing. He was a coach for several years for Rockdale Youth Softball Association, Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Scot Ward’s Green Meadow Chapel with Rev.

Shelia Crowe, Rev. Amy Morgan and Rev. Martha Wright officiating; Family will receive friends Friday, October 26, 2018 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
