Thomas I. Sheley, age 68, of Sabina, passed unexpectedly on Monday, March 4, 2019. Born in Fayette County on June 23, 1950, he was the son of the late Hubert and Garnet Bandy Sheley. Tom was a 1968 graduate of East Clinton.

He attended First Johnson Bible College and graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University, in Nashville, TN. During his time at both schools, Tom was on the basketball team. He was a teacher at East Clinton for 30 years.

Tom coached Junior High basketball and track during his tenure at East Clinton. In his retirement, he enjoyed the “buy-sell-trade” lifestyle. Tom traveled to extend his collection, and continued to love everything about his hometown Sabina.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by siblings: Charlotte Bean, Dick Sheley, and infant brother, Arthur. Left to cherish his memory is a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A celebration of Tom’s life will take place at Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, on Friday, March 15, at 6pm.

Friends may call from 4pm until the time of the service. Memorial contributions are suggested to East Clinton Athletic Department.
