Thomas’ Obituary Thomas “Turtle” “Papa T” Ray Mitcherson, 61, of Granite City, IL passed away Thurs. May 2, 2019 in Granite City. He was born Mar.

30, 1958 to the late Elvin & Sadie (Outland) Mitcherson. Thomas was a U.S. Army veteran and had been a carpenter with Local #633. He loved riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by a daughter: Jessica (Jeff Ridenour) Mitcherson; s son: Jamie (Jamie) Mitcherson all of Granite City; 9 grandchildren: Tyler Mitcherson, Jonas Barnes, Tessa Keeton, Ethan Mitcherson, Dax Mitcherson, Tyler Nicol, Branden Nicol, Kayla Ridenour and Kile Ridenour; and his former wife: Cynthia Nault of Granite City. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Marilynn Mitcherson; and a sister: Glenda Coleman. Services will be held at a later date.
