Thomas Raymond Hall, 56, of Bemidji, MN died Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. Private services will be held under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji. Interment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Bemidji.

Tom was born February 3, 1962 in Chicago, the son of Frank and Mary (Rogers) Szczepkowski. He moved with his family to Bemidji in 1969, where he was raised, graduating from Bemidji High School in 1980. He returned to Chicago… Read More » where he worked for the Nabisco factory until he became disabled from complications from diabetes, a disease he was born with.

He was big hearted and loved his family. Guitars and especially Jimi Hendrix, Chicago sports teams, gardening, and photography were important to him. He was known for playing the Hendrix version of Star Spangled Banner every 4th of July.

He is survived by his sisters Kathy (Ed) Young, Teri (Brent Chase) Mammenga, Sister-in-law Bernie Szczepkowski, 5 nephews, 1 niece, 5 great nieces and 2 great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Frank Hall, brothers Frank, Chuck, and Cliff, 2 nieces Jennifer Young and Laurie Szczepkowski and brother-in-law Randy Mammenga.
