Thomas “Tom” Smith, 74 of Kewanee passed away September 28, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born October 31, 1944 in St. Louis to the late Laurencie and Obie Smith and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Poynor Smith on December 15, 2010, and two brothers.

Survivors include; two sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Renee Smith of New Madrid, MO, one daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Christopher Shoffner of Jefferson City, MO. Grandchildren include Thorne Smith, Craig Andrew II, Ryan Lawrence, Shelby Marshall, Caleb, Jacob, Tyler, Chaylynn, Destiny, Nevaeh Smith, and David Shoffner.
