Obituary for Thomas “Tommy” Bailey Thomas Walter “Tommy” Bailey, 59, of Rock Hill, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia. He was born April 9, 1959 in Rock Hill, SC, son of James Bailey of Rock Hill and the late Doris Bennett Bailey. In addition to his mother, Tommy was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Bailey.

Tommy proudly served his country in the US Army and wholeheartedly supported the Armed Forces. He was the former owner of Muffler Master Shop in Rock Hill and more recently, was employed with Home Depot. An avid car enthusiast, Tommy loved Chevrolet’s, was President of the Rock Hill Volkswagen Association and enjoyed time spent remodeling cars.

He has numerous trophies from car shows throughout his life and one of his favorites was his recreation of Herman Munster’s Koach. In addition to his father, he leaves to cherish his memory his adored wife of 11 years, Robin Elaine Robinson Bailey; step-daughter, Ashley Smith (A.J.) of Rock Hill; step-grandchild, Keston Kirkland; and brothers, Tony Bailey of Rock Hill and Wayland Bailey (Linda) of York. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced when finalized.
