Obituary of Thomas H. Ghaner Thomas H. Ghaner, 76, of Port Matilda, died Sunday, March 24, 2019, at home. Born March 22, 1943, in State College, he was the son of the late Mahlon David and Betty Florence Stamm Ghaner. On 1969 in Bellefonte, he married Paulette Ghaner.

In addition to his wife of 50 years, Paulette, Thomas is survived by two sons, Thomas P. Ghaner and his wife, Clara, of Port Matilda, and James Ghaner and his girlfriend, Stephanie Wetzel, of Renova; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchild; and sister, Dolly Fogleman and her husband, Tom. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, many aunts and uncles, and siblings, John W. “Jack” Ghaner, Betsy Ghaner, and Betty Ghaner. Thomas worked for David Barr on Barr Farm and for the State College Area School District for many years.

He also worked at both The College Diner and the Village Dairy as a dishwasher, prior to his retirement. Arrangements are under the care of Koch Funeral Home, State College. Online condolences and signing of the guest book may be entered at www.
