Timothy Alan Hogan, 54, of Greenwood, DE passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Bayhealth Medical Center, Milford, DE after a sudden illness. Tim was born in Wheeling, WV the son of the late William Hogan and Nancy (Simms) Hogan Elson. He was a 12 year U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during Operation Desert Storm before being honorably discharged as a Staff Sgt.

Tim was working for the State of Delaware for 18 years as a social worker for both the elderly and disabled at the time of his death. Growing up, he enjoyed playing baseball and later in life enjoyed the opportunity to coach both of his sons in the Felton Little League. He also enjoyed watching football and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan.

Tim loved to golf and played whenever he got the chance. Most important to Tim was his family, for he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. His grandchildren were his life and his world.

He is survived by his wife Marian Hogan; two sons Ryan Hogan and Brent Hogan, two daughters Amanda Schnelle and Kayla Roland; 7 grandchildren Kinslee, Michael, Sarah, Alexandra, Greigh, Aubrey and Gage; one sister Deborah Barto and two brothers Thomas Hogan and Richard Hogan. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford, DE.
