Timothy Charles Gleason, age 57, passed away on January 23rd, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Luella Gleason. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Kay, daughter Amy (Ben) Crapsey, 3 grandchildren, brother Fred (Pat), sisters Tisa, Tina (Dan), Teresa (Pete), Sheryl (Chris), Anita and Angie, special nephew Todd, and beloved Uncle Bud and Aunt Darlene Arthur, close friends Dan Walston, Tim Sidor, and Mike Smith, Daisy, his Golden Retriever, and many other nieces, nephews and friends.

Tim was a tool and die maker and most recently worked at Advanced Tooling Systems. He served in the United States Air Force as a bombardment aircraft maintenance specialist while he was stationed at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana. Tim was an avid fisherman.

He liked to fish for any kind, in any lake, frozen or not. Tim was also well known for his fish dinners, and special homemade tartar sauce. He also loved riding his Harley, snowmobiles, camping with friends and family and most recently pursued his passion of racing hydro boats.

His distinct sense of humor and quick wit will be missed. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at the Rockford Ambulance Community Room (8450 Shaner Ave NE Rockford 49341) on Saturday February 9th, 2019 from 1pm-4pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in honor of Tim’s memory to the West Michigan Walleye Club to benefit the 2019 Youth Fishing Tournament held on Muskegon Lake.
