Timothy James Willett, age 32, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at his home. He was born in Lee County on August 14, 1986 to Gary Willett and Ramona Coggins Willett. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Louis Willett.

Tim graduated from Lee County High School in 2005 and went on to complete his associate degree in business from Wake Technical Community College. Tim is survived by his beautiful daughter, Briella Lynne Willett and her mother, Ruby Parker; his parents, Gary and Ramona Willett of Sanford; two brothers, Jeremy Willett of Greenville, Stephen Willett and girlfriend, Samantha Houston of Sanford; sister, Kasey Willett and boyfriend, Philip Maness of Sanford; grandparents, Jimmie and Peggy Coggin of Sanford and Annie Doris Willett and boyfriend, Ed Honeycutt of Sanford; girlfriend, Britney Noller of Sanford; many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Grace Chapel from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

A memorial service will follow at 4:30 PM with Rev. Joel Murr, Rev. Bob Yandle and Evangelist Chance Walters officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to be placed in a trust fund for Briella Willett (contact Gary, Ramona or Kasey for more information) and/or The Gideons International, P.O. Box 1032, Sanford, NC 27331.
