OBITUARY Tobia “Toby” Gerard Russo November 2, 1969 – June 16, 2018 Tobia Gerard Russo, “Toby” 48, of Nutley passed away on Saturday, June 16th at his home in Nutley. He was born in Montclair, lived in Belleville for many years before moving to Nutley 20 years ago. He worked as a frame supervisor for 30 years for Verizon in Nutley, Rutherford and Jersey City.

Tobia was a member of the Nutley Unico and UGHA Doo Wop Group. Funeral services will be conducted by Zarro Funeral Home, (www. zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 24th, 2018 from 2-6 pm. and on Monday, June 25th, 2018 at 9am followed by a mass at 10:30am at St. Lucy’s RC Church, 118 7th Avenue,Newark, NJ. The burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, N. Arlington, NJ.

Tobia (aka Toby) is survived by his wife, Rae Lyn (nee Ciccone) and his son, Gerard Russo; parents, Maria Ann (nee La Sardo) Russo and Toby Russo Jr.; brother, Michael Russo and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations will be appreciated to the family in his memory.
