Tom Gowin, 61, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019. He was a life resident of Barberton. Tom enjoyed fishing and shooting pool.

Preceded in death by his father, Larry Gowin; brothers, Dennis and James G. Gowin and wife, Terri Gowin. Tom is survived by his daughters, Angie Vrba and Stephanie Gowin; mother, Pauline Gowin; sisters, Rebecca Gowin, Michele (Ken) Calderone; his best four-legged friend, “Doc”; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 3rd at 4 p.m. at the Campfield-Hickman-Collier Funeral Home, 566 W. Park Ave.

, Barberton 44203. Tom’s family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of service. A private burial will take place at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Doylestown.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Summit County Animal Shelter, 1929 W. Market St., Akron, Ohio 44313.
