Tom Junkins, beloved husband of 37 years to Maureen A. Junkins, passed away on May 16, 2019. Tom was born in Washington, D. C. on November 13, 1954. He moved to Laurel in 1983 where he and Maureen raised three boys.

Tom worked, for 30 years, as an inventory control manager for Grabber Construction Products. He was an Army veteran, a boy scout leader and a coach of track and field for the Laurel Boys and Girls Club. In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his son Joe Williams, Tim Junkins and Chris Junkins and his wife Cynthia.

He is also survived by sisters Martha (Jeff) Cole, Patricia (Jon) Hutchens, Katie (Hemi) Rahm and Margaret Burgess and his beloved grandchildren Kilian and Archer Junkins. Mr. Junkins was predeceased by his parents Mary and George O’Hara. A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, from 6 until 8 pm at the Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A. in Laurel, MD.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 11 am at the Christian Community Presbyterian Church, 3120 Belair Road, Bowie, MD 20715. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations be made to Charity Water in Tom’s name.
