Tommy’s Obituary Tommy Alfred Sublett, 78, of Blanco passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019, at Kindred Hospice in San Antonio, Texas. Tommy was born on February 12, 1941, in Austin, Texas to Julia Sublett and Oren Alfred Sublett. He was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam Era and a retired Operator with Oxidental Petroleum in Houston, Texas.

Tommy and his wife Vivian were Foster Parents for over forty-seven years where they took care of 287 Foster Children who they loved and help mold into responsible and happy young men and women. He and the love of his life for almost fifty-years in September, loved to go square dancing and spend time with his wonderful family, friends and foster children. Tommy lived in Deer Park for thirty years; Nacogdoches for seventeen and he and Vivian had just moved to Blanco.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Vivian Kay Pellett Sublett of Blanco; daughter, Laura Byrd and her husband David of Missouri City; sons, Kenneth Sublett and Cheryl Stubbs of Dickinson, Texas, Richard Sublett and Lynda of Deer Park, Tommy Allen Sublett and Anita of Blanco and Chris Sublett and Traycie of Pasadena; daughter-in-law, Leslie Beattie of Clear Lake, Texas; brother, Jimmy Sublett and Leila of Wimberley, Texas; eight grandchildren, and one great granddaughter on the way, Kinley Boyle. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lilly Sublett who died around 1940. Visitation will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Blanco with a Chapel Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Saturday conducted by Pastor Stan King of the Impact Cowboy Church in Nacogdoches.

Burial will follow at Miller Creek Cemetery in Johnson City, Texas.
