Tommy Caines, 78, of Sellersburg, IN passed away on May 15, 2019 after a long illness. He was born on May 12, 1941 in Greenview, WV to Blanche Browning and Virgil Caines of Ashland, KY. He was a Navy veteran and a retired truck driver.

Tommy was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his four children, Melissa Kirk of Sellersburg, IN, Jennifer Caines (Matt) of Memphis, IN, Eric Caines (Kelly Sue) of Sellersburg, IN and Chris Caines (Eva) of New Albany, IN; three brothers, Frank Miller of Greenview, WV, Harrison Allen Gilllman of Greenview, WV and Timmy Gillman; ten grandchildren, Dustin Kirk of New Albany, IN, Sabrina Kirk of Sellersburg, IN, Nicholas Bell of Memphis, IN, Destiny Graham (Brett) of New Albany, IN, Jillian and Johnathon Caines of Salem, IN, Shelby Neal, Hayden Neal, Noah Caines, and Devin Givens of New Albany, IN; four great-grandchildren with one on the way, Harlem Haynes, Jaxon, Maverick, and Grayson Graham; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2019 Handley Funeral Home, Danville.
