OBITUARY Tommy Pendergrass March 19, 1953 – January 31, 2019 Play Tribute Movie Tommy Pendergrass, 65, passed away at his home in Atlantic Beach on January 31, 2019. He was born in Bristol, VA and attended Terry Parker High School in Jacksonville, FL. Tommy was once part of the JSO’s 4-Wheel Drive Posse and worked for Big Chief Tire.

He was a member of the Lion’s Club, FOP 5-30 and the Beaches Council for the Disabled and had a passion for the Florida Gators, hunting, NASCAR and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred & Helen Pendergrass and brother, Eugene Pendergrass. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Brenda; children, Michael Monahan, Keith Monahan, Velvet Pendergrass and Jason Pendergrass (Lailane); granddaughters, Mia Isabella Pendergrass & Heather Monahan; great-granddaughters, Layla & Harper Stone; sister, Cricket Wright and nephew, Kenny Wright The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, Feb, 4th at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd.

, Jacksonville Beach, FL. Tommy will be laid to rest with his parents at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
