Tony Bocetti, age 95, of McKeesport and Forward Twp. , passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at home. He retired as a manager for R.E.A. Express in Pittsburgh.

An Army veteran serving during World War II, he took part in the Normandy Invasion. He was a former member of the White Oak American Legion, Croatian Fraternal Union #146 of Versailles, Versailles VFW and Versailles AARP, and a former volunteer at the McKeesport Food Bank. Born July 1, 1923 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Gilbert and Concetta (Testa) Boccetti and husband of the late Jeanne (Rossell) Bocetti.

He is survived by sons, Gilbert A. (Brenda) Bocetti of East McKeesport; Anthony E. (Mary) Bocetti of Elizabeth and Dean (Carol) Bocetti of McMurray; grandchildren, Kristy Spain, Brian, Katherine, Emily, Tony and Julie Bocetti; also, nieces and nephews. A private visitation and Military Honors took place in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Monday, December 17, 2018. Burial was in McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1100 Liberty Avenue, Suite E-201, Pittsburgh, PA 15222-4240.
