Obituary for Tonya Lynn Porter Memorial service for Tonya Porter, 61, of Lahoma, will be 10:00 AM, Friday, June 22, 2018, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gale Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Tonya was born on September 1, 1956, in Medicine Lodge, Kansas to Ralph and Doris (Brown) Porter, and passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at her home in Lahoma. Tonya grew up in Medicine Lodge, graduated high school, and attended college at Pratt Community College and Phillips University.

In 1980 she moved to Enid, and worked as a secretary at St. Mary’s Hospital, at Bass Memorial Hospital, and Groendykes Transport. She was a member of the Christian Church of the Covenant. Tonya loved to sew, spend time on her computer, photography, and genealogy.

Tonya is survived by her son Kelly Ashcraft of Moore; and her brother and wife, Randell and JoAnn Porter of Silsbee, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Porter and Doris Detwiler, stepfather, Wendell “Wimp” Detwiler and her brother Ronald Porter. Guestbook is available at www.
