Treophia L. Black, 63, of Alexander, Arkansas went to her eternal home with the Lord on Saturday, July 14, 2018. She was born on January 20, 1955. She accepted Christ forty-four years ago at Gospel Light House Pentecostal Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Donald R. Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maude Ester Gibson; father, Clarence Brown; daughter, Felicia Black; three sisters, Lathel Gibson, Florence Collins and Norma Bryant; one brother, Lee Gibson. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of forty-one years, Paul Black; two grandchildren, Marlicia and Jairius Black; three sisters, Alice James, Emma Kemp Burton and Annie Mark; four brothers, Robert Gibson, Lawrence Gibson, Michael Gibson and Lowvell Gibson and a host of relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Serenity Funeral Home, 1851 Marshall St., Little Rock, AR (501) 374-5025.
