The youngest of three girls, Trudi enjoyed a typical childhood in Johnson City with summers full of outdoor play with cousins and neighbors, horseback riding and staying with grandparents. After a career of truck driving she settled close to home near Jonesborough where she had room to garden and keep big dogs and horses (her pasture ornaments! ).

Her passion for antiques led to a collection of beautiful things, including many friendships. Additional friendships were nurtured through her volunteer work at the Ardinna Woods Arboretum in Jonesborough and her dedication to her church, Antioch Baptist. She was devoted to her family, many, many friends and her church and she will be missed daily as she flies with her angels.

Services will be held Monday, 4 March 2019, Antioch Baptist Church, 1014 Antioch Road, Johnson City, TN 37604, 12:30 pm visitation with family; Celebration of Life Service 1:30 pm; Graveside service, 3:00 pm at Monte Vista Cemetery (Sermon on the Mount section) 1900 East Oakland Avenue, Johnson City, TN 37601.
