OBITUARY Tyler Duane Chesnut November 25, 1997 – November 3, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Tyler Duane Chesnut, 20, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018. Tyler resided in Choctaw, Oklahoma with his wife Jacee (Eastep) Chesnut. Tyler was born November 25, 1997 in Oklahoma City to Darwin and Bridgett Chesnut.

Tyler graduated from Choctaw High School in May of 2016. Tyler married the love of his life Jacee Eastep on June 14, 2018 in Jones, Oklahoma. Tyler worked at Environmental Action Inc. for the past 4 years.

He was currently attending Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma City, where he was working on his construction management degree. Tyler was a loving husband, son, and brother. He was a friend to everyone.

His positive influence was felt by all. He brought warmth, laughter, and a smile to all situations. Tyler was also an avid outdoorsman.

He loved fishing and hunting. Tyler spent time with his nieces teaching them how to fish. He was a devout Christian who loved his heavenly father greatly.

Tyler had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Tyler was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Pamela Sue Vannoy. He is survived by his wife, Jacee Chesnut; parents, Darwin and Bridgett Chesnut; brother, Matthew James Chesnut; sister, Mackenzie LeAnn Chesnut; sister, Tiffany Celia Chesnut Reynolds; grandparents, Daniel Lawrence and Carolyn Sue Chesnut of Oklahoma City; grandparents, Terry Duane and Diana Vannoy of Arkansas City, Kansas; niece, Sophia Eastep of Choctaw Oklahoma, niece, Lily Eastep of Choctaw, Oklahoma; aunt and uncle, Daniel Lawrence and Kristye Chesnut of Choctaw, Oklahoma; aunt and uncle, Darren Lynn and Lori Chesnut of Choctaw, Oklahoma; aunt and uncle, Delton and Gidget Woods of Blackwell, Oklahoma; cousin, Chad Woods of Blackwell, Oklahoma; cousin, Caitlin Woods of Blackwell, Oklahoma; cousin, Seth Chesnut of Choctaw, Oklahoma; cousin, Emma Chesnut of Choctaw, Oklahoma; cousin, Jesse Chesnut of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and cousin, Cortland Chesnut of Choctaw, Oklahoma.

A public viewing will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 12-8pm at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 N.E. 23rd St., Oklahoma City. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 9, 2018, 11A.M., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 110 W. Morningside Dr., Midwest City. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Harrah.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Tyler’s name to the Epilepsy Foundation of Oklahoma or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
