Don Craig passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018, in Oklahoma City. He was born at home in Phillips, OK, on December 3, 1946, the son of Dawson Vernon and Anna Craig. Don graduated from Norman High School in 1964.

He entered the US Marines in 1966 and served two tours in the Vietnam War, receiving an honorable discharge in 1969. Don returned to Oklahoma City and began a 32-year career with the US Postal Service, during which he always walked his routes. He married Anthea Burt in April of 1987.

Don was an avid Sooners, Thunder and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed playing games on the computer and golfing with his brothers. He was a lifetime member of the VFW.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Bud, Jack and Dawson. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Andi; two children, Donald H. Craig and wife Jeanelle, and Summer Mauldin-Kindrick and husband Scott; five grandchildren, Jacob, Kylie, William, Caydon and Little Jake; two stepsons, Kenneth Dixon and wife Tammy, and Todd Dixon; four step-grandchildren, Amanda, Christopher, Megan and Louden; a great granddaughter, Ellianna; three sisters, Jane Crosswhite, Sue Craig, and Kay Martin; brother, Max Craig; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, November 30 from 5-7 at Smith & Kernke, 23rd Street.

The funeral will be Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 2 pm at First United Methodist Church of Moore, 201 W. Main Street. Burial will follow with military honors at Arlington Memory Gardens.
