Margaret Elaine Turner went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Meadow Lake Estates at the age of 93. She was born December 2, 1924. Margaret was an avid music lover known for her quick wit, her infectious smile and her kind and compassionate spirit.

She was a devoted member of St. Marks United Methodist Church in Bethany for over 47 years. She also was a longtime volunteer at the Baptist Hospital for several years. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Angelia Turner and Robert Swarthout; husband, William L. “Bill” Turner; sister, Patsy Jo Rice and her beloved Yorkie, Maggie.

She is survived by her three children, Caren Hagen, Gregory Turner and Michael Turner; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 24 at 1:00 P.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Turner, Jr., Mark Turner, Kyle Spangler, Jimmy Calvert, Nathan Barta and Huston Higgins.

Memorial contributions may be sent in her memory to St. Marks United Methodist Church, 8140 NW 36th St., Bethany, OK 73008.
