Mrs. Uzera’s Obituary Funeral services for Mrs. Uzera Harris 72, of Killeen will be held Friday, February 15, 2019, 12:00 noon at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Saegert Ranch Congregation in Killeen, TX. Burial will follow the service at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Mrs. Harris passed away February 8, 2019, in Killeen, TX.

She was born November 2, 1946, in Newark, NJ. Uzera Harris (Woolard) formerly of Lawton, Oklahoma went to sleep in death the morning of Friday, 8 February, 2019 at her new home in Killeen, TX, where she was currently residing due to poor health. Uzera Harris was born on November 2, 1946 in Newark, NJ to Jackson L. Woolard and Mildred Woolard.

Uzera got married at a young age to Ronald W. Harris Sr. of Newark NJ on Jan 9, 1963. Uzera would often tease her husband a military soldier whom she joking would say that he robbed the cradle. Together they traveled all over the world to different assignments, learning new cultures and making lifelong friendships in many countries.

They also successfully raised three children: Rhonda, Denise, and Ronald Jr. whom were taught to put God first, to love your family and to have compassion for all people. Uzera never forgot growing up in New Jersey the Garden State, she would always say the east coast had the best food, and as her family knew she enjoyed eating. Her focus was always to be be gracious, making a home for her family and she loved her house to be clean.

Uzera’s greatest deepest true love was getting to know Jehovah God. She enjoyed reading his word and teaching her family and others about the true God Jehovah. As a dedicated Sister of 47 years Uzera enjoyed going from door to door to preaching about God’s Kingdom.

Sister Harris loved her Christian family of Jehovah’s Witnesses, throughout the world, and ones within her own family. Uzera never gave-up despite her illness, loved Bible studies and the meetings, she would say my help comes from Jehovah God. Uzera’s firm hope is in the resurrection to enjoy life in perfect health on a paradise earth.

Her favorite scriptures are Revelation 21:3-4 and 1 Timothy 2:3-4. She is survived her husband: Ronald William Harris Sr. of (Killeen Tx), brother Virgil Woolard of (Haverstraw, NY) Daughter & Son in law: Rhonda R. Gibson and Quintin D. Gibson of (Mansfield Texas) Granddaughter: Lanya Y. Harris-Lowery of (Mansfield Texas) Grandson: Quintin R. Gibson of (Mansfield Texas) Grandson: Derik D. Gibson of (Mansfield Texas) Great Grandchildren: Chante M. Lowery, Shannon D. Lowery, Malachi M. Gibson, Jaycion C. Gibson, Jaydon Miles, Emerie G. Faulk, Harper C. Gibson, Remington M. Gibson Daughter: Denise Brunner of (Killeen Texas) Grandson and Wife: Anthony R. Lugo and Tisa Lugo of (Killeen Texas) Granddaughter and Husband: Sade L. Murgia and Sean Murgia of (Killeen Texas) Granddaughter: Torise S. Brunner of Killeen Texas Grandson: Tyrese L. Brunner of Killeen Texas Great Grandchildren: Kamaree L. Lugo, Jayden M.
