Obituary for V. “Jean” Boreman V. Jean Boreman, age 86, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Wayne County Care Center in Wooster following a period of declining health. Her loving family was by her side. Jean was born on June 24, 1932 in Creston to Van and Mary (Crow) Holderbaum and has been an area resident for all of her life.

She married Milo A. Boreman on February 11, 1950. He went home to be with the Lord on June 27, 2003. She was a devoted homemaker and an avid reader.

She enjoyed playing cards and for many years,spent time at Odell Lake in Holmes County. She mostly loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Rosella (James) Burkhart of Wooster, Michael (Sue) Boreman of Brewster, Robert Boreman of Shreve, Sandra Rose of Loudonville and Bruce Boreman of Wooster; 12 granddaughters; 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Nancy Emerson of Wooster and Judy Holderbaum of Florida; a special friend, Jack Ellsworth of N. Canton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ted and Jim Holderbaum and a sister, Betty Haston. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., Wooster with Rev. William Andrick officiating followed by interment at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Wooster.

Visitation will be 2 hours (11:00 – 1:00 p.m) prior to services on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to: Life Care Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd. , Wooster, Oh.
