Ms. Vadie Crews, age 82, of Macclenny, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at Frank Wells Nursing Home. She was born on July 3, 1936 in Moniac, Georgia to the late Mr. Robert and Ruby (Prevatt) Crews. She was a lifelong resident of the area and worked for many years as a cabinet maker.

She will be remembered as a good, loving momma. She enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, as she kept a garden, growing collard greens and okra. She also liked dancing and cooking.

She is survived by her sons: Jack (Elizabeth) McKenny of Glen St. Mary and Leroy Rewis; daughter: Susan (James Porter) Hodges of Macclenny; multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents. Memorialization will be by cremation.
