Valerie A. Colaianni Valerie Colaianni, 52 of Moon Township, passed away peacefully at her home on October 3, 2018. She was born April 3, 1966 in Sewickley, PA, the daughter of Angelo and Gemma (Camardese) Colaianni. She was a 1984 graduate of Moon High School.

She then continued and completed her studies in secretarial and clerical studies. She was a licensed realtor and received a Cosmetology Diploma. Valerie had a strong Christian faith.

She loved life and was a life-long learner and an energetic participant in all it had to offer. She was an avid reader, shopper and truly enjoyed taking long walks with her dog “Rocco”. She enjoyed family get togethers and sharing laughter and the good times with her three sons Brandon, Vincent and Anthony, especially treasuring the time spent watching them play sports.

She was preceded in death by Brian Thompson, father of her three sons, her paternal grandparents Rocco and Anastasia Colaianni, her maternal grandparents Saverio and Ida Camardese, her cousins Christina Camardese Savage and Stacy Wiley. The memory of Valerie will be cherished by her loving parents, her brother Robert (Pam) Colaianni of Newman, GA; her sisters Laura (Adam) Preganz of Dunnellon, FL and Angela of Moon Township, PA. She will be sadly missed by her numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

Visitation Monday 4-8 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where prayers will be recited on Tuesday at 9:30 AM followed by Mass at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
