Valerie’s Obituary Vallerie L. Singleton, the daughter of Irene Singleton and the late James Singleton Sr., life began on January 10, 1974 in New London, C.T. She was a life time member of Pentecostal Rescue Mission C.O.G.I. C, under the leadership of Pastor Nathaniel Scott, where she served as the president of the youth choir.

She received her education in the New London School District and graduated in 1992. She continued her education at Ridley-Lowell Technical Institute in New London, C.T, where she received her degree to become a medical assistant. Vallerie was a die hard eagles fan.

She worked at Shop Rite in New London and at the Oak Dale Motel in Waterford, C.T. She was predeceased by her father James Singleton Sr, and two brothers – Paul Singleton and Johnathon Singleton, both of New London. She leaves to cherish her loving memories her mother Irene Singleton or Awendaw, S.C.; her biological daughter Jamesha Singleton, four adopted children – Danyelah Singleton Cambra, Danysha Singleton Cambra, D’Naliyah Singleton Cambra and Rasheem Singleton Jr. all of New London; three brother – James Singleton (Lynette), John L. Singleton and Rasheem J Singleton all of New London; one sister – Inez Singleton of Awendaw, S.C.; two goddaughters – Quadaezjah Nelson of South Carolina and Jalissa Fisher of New London; two godsons – Michael Ellis Jr. of Norwich, C.T. and Jalonii Singleton of New London, C.T. A maternal grandmother Ethel Scott of Awendaw, S.C. and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
