OBITUARY VaLeta “Danny” Swanson February 23, 1925 – November 3, 2018 VaLeta “Danny” Lucille (Dannenberg) Swanson was born in Smith Center, Kansas, and was married for 69 years to Raymond Swanson, who passed away in 2015. The two of them established, owned and operated Geo. Swanson & Son Manufacturing Co. for 40 years.

Danny was an active volunteer in retirement. She was the mother of Steve and Reed, grandmother of Derek, Adrien, Brett and Karli, and great-grandmother of Ben. A celebration of Danny’s life will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Pavilion of Reflection in Wheat Ridge on Sunday, December 9, 2018, 11:00 a.m. with reception following.

Visitation will be at Crown Hill on Saturday, December 8, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Olinger Crown Hill 7777 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Colorado Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association: 455 Sherman St. #500, Denver, CO 80203.
