OBITUARY Velma Jean Hume July 15, 1953 – December 26, 2018 Velma Jean Hume, age 65, passed away December 26, 2018 in New Albany, IN. She was born July 15, 1953 in Hazard, KY to the late Paul and Verna Sizemore and retired from Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Marie (Gettelfinger) Dennis and 4 siblings.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years Larry Hume, daughters, Lorena Gettelfinger (A.J.), and Angel Hume, brothers, Rusty and Chester Sizemore, sister, Anita Rochner, and 7 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Monday at the funeral home chapel with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
